The Day That I Spent Time With My Family Instead of Going to New York City...

Woke up super late because of how late I stayed out last night, ate breakfast while everyone else was eating lunch, read more Hero of Ages, spent most of the day relaxing, had New Years Eve dinner with family at home, didn't regret not being in New York City to see the ball drop, hugged Owen for my first hug of 2010, also shook Owen's hand for my first handshake of 2010, have not had my first kiss of 2010 yet, do not expect to have a kiss at all of 2010, stopped thinking about things to do in 2010, wished everyone a happy new year, wrote my run-on sentence, and passed out on my bed.

The Day That I Was Reminded of How Awesome It Is to Have Great Friends...

Woke up at seven to go to the dentist, went to the dentist, got my face numbed in two different places, was told to rinse out my mouth and was unable to do so, was reminded of Bill Cosby's piece on dentists, laughed to myself, drove back home, relaxed for a while, read some Hero of Ages, watched some movies, took a nap, drove to Christine's house and had a party in her basement, had tons of fun reminiscing and talking about all things under the sun and beyond it, remembered how awesome good friends are, ate some really good fudge, drove Garrett home, drove myself home, didn't come close to falling asleep while driving (because I'm just that good), ran up to my room, wrote my run-on sentence and was relieved to finally be able to go to sleep after a very long but good day.

The Day That I Chopped All My Hair Off.. Again...

Woke up to my alarm, turned off my alarm, slept for another two hours, got out of bed, decided to get my hair cut, drove to the hair cut place in Cicero, got my hair cut, drove back home, relaxed for a while, drove to the dentist, drove back home from the dentist, was frustrated due to numbness in the entire right side of my face, relaxed some more, ate dinner with a numb face, relaxed some more, watched P.S. I Love You, was sad, enjoyed the beauty of Gerard Butler and that guy who Izzy married in Grey's Anatomy, wrote my run-on sentence and went to bed early since I have to wake up early tomorrow.

The Day That Central New York Saw Its First Real Blizzard of the Season...

Woke up to my alarm, ignored my alarm and went back to sleep, woke up to the sound of children playing, was disgruntled, got out of bed, ate some cereal (I think), brushed my teeth, went to the dentist, realized that I really do need to floss more, planned on getting my hair cut tomorrow (probably), drove into Syracuse to the Hunters' house, picked up Charity, drove to Shoppingtown Mall, allowed Charity to buy ice cream to share, watched Sherlock Holmes, enjoyed Robert Downey Jr.'s portrayal of Sherlock Holmes, walked around Shoppingtown Mall, went back to the car and realized that Scuba Steve had called (he was invited to come to the movie too but we never got a hold of him before the movie started), was relieved that Steve had already seen Sherlock Holmes, dropped Charity off back at her house, drove toward Steve's house, called Steve, went to Steve's house, was excited to see Steve, hugged Steve, got in Steve's car and went to the library with Steve so he could get a book about Jehovah's Witnesses for his religion psych/soc class, invited Steve to dinner and FHE, persisted to invite Steve even though he thought it would be more appropriate to come over after I had dinner and FHE with my family, allowed Steve to convince me that it was a better idea to wait, drove back home safely in the relatively snowy weather, had dinner, went to FHE, got a text from Steve saying that he was going to take a nap for a bit and then come over, decided to play Risk with Owen and Dad, conquered Africa and South America, kept Owen from conquering North America for a while, kept Dad from getting too many armies at first, paused the game to go see Invictus with Steve (the only thing to do in Central NY is to go to the cinema or the bars and I don't drink so the cinema it is!), enjoyed watching Invictus, went outside and said WOAH because it was a crazy blizzard outside complete with windy snowy-ness all around, realized that Steve and Dad were probably right when they said it was a bad idea to wear flip flops, drove home in the blizzard with Steve, stared in awe at the beauty of driving in a blizzard, made it home safely, hoped that Steve makes it home safely, went inside and up to my room, wrote my run-on sentence, and hit the hay.

The Day For Church...

Woke up yet another thirty minutes earlier than the day before, got dressed, hopped in the car and went to church whilst reading, wrote a story to help keep Owen in check, enjoyed cake and ice cream in the sunbeams' class, waited for Hannah to finish discussing BYU-Idaho's music program with Crystal, got impatient and went out to the car, pressed the number "6" on the keypad because I was bored, was astonished when the car unlocked, realized that the car probably didn't unlock because of me pressing the number "6" on the keypad, but rather because Mom used the remote to unlock the car, palmed my forehead, spent the afternoon reading, played Risk with the sibs, paused Risk with the sibs because Mariel got bored, watched YouTube videos with Mariel and Owen, ate some amazing Thai food for dinner that Mom made, taught Owen a little bit of French (he can now count to ten.. more or less..), went back to my room, took a long hot bath, read some more, wrote my run-on sentence and decided to (probably) go to bed early.

The Day After Christmas...

Woke up thirty minutes earlier than I did yesterday (another thirty minutes closer to my goal for next semester), went downstairs, thought about eating pancakes, ate Reese's Puffs instead, spent most of the day in my room either reading or catching up on more TV shows, recorded younger siblings doing silly things on my camera, deleted most of those videos because they turned out being kinda dumb, started watching Angels and Demons, wrote my run-on sentence, and went to sleep.

Christmas

Woke up abruptly since children wanted to open presents, ate breakfast, opened presents, played games with said children, retired to my room and read the rest of The Well of Ascension, enjoyed it immensely, realized that I spent most of the day reading, picked up the third book of the Mistborn series and read the first chapter, became intrigued, acknowledged my headache, wrote my run-on sentence and went to sleep.

The Day That Almost Never Began...

Thought about staying up all night and into today but didn't, went to sleep, woke up thirty minutes earlier than yesterday which means I woke up an hour earlier than two days ago (which is good), read half of The Well of Ascension, enjoyed the first half immensely, took Owen to Walmart for some strange insane reason, practiced city driving on the way in and out, had fun being an aggressive driver, came back home, read more Well of Ascension, attended Christmas Eve festivities with the family, picked up my friend Spenser to go see a movie, got to the theater and realized all of the movies had already started and the theater was closed for the rest of the night, was disappointed, followed some guy in a jeep until he pulled out a gat, sped away and came back home, hung out with Spenser at my home until I decided I was very tired and should probably take him home before I'd be too tired to drive (which hasn't happened yet in my life and hopefully never will... believe it or not I'm quite a satisfactory driver... nobody believes me), dropped Spenser off at his house, drove back home, went up to my room and decided to write my run-on sentence and then read a bunch of The Well of Ascension once again before perhaps going to bed.

The Day That I Disguised Myself As My Mother With Her Library Card...

Woke up thirty minutes earlier than I did yesterday, looked up things that I'd like to borrow from the library on the internet, found Mom's library card because I left mine in Utah, drove the little car to the Salina Library, found Brandon Sanderson's books, grabbed the second and third Mistborn books, set them down on the checkout, spoke with the librarian about Brandon Sanderson's children series featuring Alcatraz, was given the second book to the Alcatraz series because I haven't read it yet, went home, realized that I hadn't put more gas into the car, went to put more gas into the car, came back home, read some more Mistborn, played Pirates of the Caribbean Online with Owen again for a little while, got bored of Pirates of the Caribbean Online and read the rest of Mistborn, started reading The Well of Ascension, wondered who The Watcher is and how important he will be in the rest of the book, thought about reading more of the book so that I can learn who The Watcher is and how he ties into the story, wrote my run-on sentence, and decided to go ahead and read as much of The Well of Ascension as I can before getting too tired to continue reading and finally falling asleep.

The Day That I Got Cool New Clothes at the Thrift Store...

Woke up late again, didn't care, ate some cookies that Mom made, threw on some flip flops and went thrift store shopping, was immensely successful, thought about how I need a hair cut soon, decided to purchase new shoes soon as well, read Mistborn for a bit, enjoyed watching Alena dance with a singing Christmas card she got from her bus drivers, played Pirates of the Caribbean Online with Owen because he wanted me to, enjoyed commanding the ship while Owen powered the cannons and sunk three Navy ships, watched a movie that I didn't enjoy too much, took Hannah and Owen to Hannah's concert, laughed at Owen dancing to the concert songs, took Hannah and Owen back home, watched the rest of the movie that I didn't enjoy too much, went to Marshal's house and watched scary movies, laughed at how jumpy Marshal is during scary movies, came back home a few minutes after midnight, wrote my run-on sentence and decided to wake up at a specific time tomorrow.

The Day That I Slept Through My Alarm...

Woke up five hours later than I was planning to, realized that I must be pretty deep in sleep-debt, went shopping with Mom, ate some breakfast/lunch/snackage, came home and watched movies, and read Mistborn, and looked online for more books to read over Christmas Break, attended Family Home Evening, sang hymns with the fam, enjoyed listening to Owen's increased confidence in his higher-pitched singing voice, made a gingerbread house with the sole purpose of gluing as much candy as possible to every surface of the gingerbread, listened to peacefully agitating music, recognized the oxymoron in that phrase, went to Marshal's house and instead of watching Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog decided to watch Les Choristes (which is a fantastic French film, BTW), enjoyed the little boy choir voices, thought about watching another movie but decided to be responsible and come home by midnight, wrote my run-on sentence for the day and read more chapters in Mistborn before deciding to eventually fall asleep.

The Day That I Woke Up Five Hours Earlier Than I'm Used To...

Woke up at 8:00am Eastern Time, got ready for church, went to church with Mom and the kids, watched the Christmas program, enjoyed coercing Owen to sing an octave higher than he normally does, was impressed by how much better he sounds singing at a higher pitch, went to Primary instead of Sunday School, enjoyed watching all the little kids, went to Relief Society, got to see a bunch of people that I haven't seen in ages, talked with people after church for a while, went home with Mom and Alena, made a tuna sandwich for lunch, read a few more chapters in Mistborn, ate fudge, read more Mistborn, played with Owen and Mariel, went to Marshal's home and watched Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, enjoyed it thoroughly, came home before midnight, wrote my run-on sentence for the day, and decided to read more Mistborn instead of going to bed exactly at midnight as I had originally planned (which probably means I won't be getting up as early as I was planning to tomorrow.)

The Day That They Moved My Aircraft to Three Different Gates Just to Watch the Passengers Squirm...

Woke up really super early this morning (five a.m. to be precise), repacked all of my things that I had brought to Grandma Gerie's house, ate some pop-tarts, went to the airport, waited for my flight, sat on a plane for four hours, waited in the airport for my airplane to be board-able, waited some more, ran across the concourse to the new gate, ran across the concourse again to another new gate, walked over to ANOTHER new gate, waited two hours for my flight to leave, finally left the airport at 4:45 (an hour and a half after it was originally supposed to leave), wondered why it took so long for our plane to actually leave, sat in first class because they changed my flight time and had to fit me in the plane somewhere, ate chips and a Twix bar, read a few chapters in Mistborn, slept, arrived in Syracuse, came home with family, took a shower, passed on A Christmas Story, wrote my run-on sentence and went to bed.

The Day That I Aced a Final Exam in Fifteen Minutes...

Woke up to the sound of silence, found a card under my door from a roommate wishing me a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, smiled, watched Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog again, studied a little bit for my final that was scheduled for this afternoon, went to the final, was finished in fifteen minutes, went back home, on the way home ran into Diehl Mutamba (a friend from last year), found out that he is going on a mission to Geneva Switzerland... Spanish speaking, laughed at the Spanish speaking part, went out to a Chinese buffet with Diehl, came back to my apartment and packed, waited for Uncle Bob to pick me up, went with Uncle Bob and his daughters to get ice cream from Arctic Circle, had a really bad headache, finally got to Grandma's house, found out my flight was changed so that I can get home earlier and don't have to worry about JFK, decided to go to bed because of that headache, but first wrote my run-on sentence for the day.

The Day That Emma Went Home and Left Me All By Myself...

Woke up much earlier than usual because of loud roommates that like to laugh, took out the earplugs that weren't doing any good, got out of bed and watched Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog with Emma before Dean picked her up to take her to the airport, got ready to spend the day up on campus in the Testing Center and such, spent the day up on campus in the Testing Center, took a three hour break, went back to the Testing Center and totally rocked my Marriage Prep final, realized that Emma did better on the test than I did, also realized that she went to class much more often than I did, decided to do better next year (semester), couldn't wait for tomorrow night and then the next morning when I get to go home too, decided to chillax tonight and not worry too much about my last final, said, "Ick!" because I remembered my disgust at discovering that I had a final that was scheduled for Friday afternoon, decided that I want to meet the person who made it possible for professors to schedule finals on the very last possible day that they could possibly be taken so that I can spit on their shoes, erased what I really typed and replaced it with "so that I can spit on their shoes," decided that maybe it would be a good idea to pack now so that I don't have to wait until the last minute tomorrow to pack before Uncle Bob picks me up from my apartment and takes me up to Salt Lake, wrote my run-on sentence, and decided to give in to my productive thoughts once again.

The Day That I Didn't Really Do Anything...

I woke up this morning around the same time as Emma and Genevieve did (well, I should say afternoon...), made some french toast out of pieces of bagel, watched Monsters vs Aliens with Emma, watched Sweeney Todd with Emma, made a ring out of Starburst wrappers, watched another movie, thought about what I'm going to pack, and went to bed.

The Day That I Rocked My Anatomy Lecture Final...

Woke up naturally again at like eleven, watched last night's episode of Lie to Me on Hulu, decided to buckle down and study, studied like crazy, studied some more, walked up to campus and into the JSB, remembered how much I hate taking tests in the JSB, took the test, totally rocked the test, walked back to my apartment from campus, lounged around, realized how utterly mundane my day was, remembered that I needed to write my run-on sentence for the day, wrote my run-on sentence for the day, and decided to call it a night.

The Day That I Learned How to Use Windows Movie Maker...

At around 2:00am after I had been studying for a long time I decided to follow the bike trail, walked up to Wyview area, looked through as many bike racks as I could see, tried not to look suspicious to all of the patrolling cops, looked suspicious but not enough for a cop to talk to me, decided to give up on looking for my bike, went back to my apartment, went to sleep, woke up without an alarm three hours after everyone else was already at the Testing Center, didn't get stressed about that fact since I can't take all of my tests until Friday afternoon anyway, spent most of the day studying, got bored and watched some movies, was still bored so decided to make a random movie with Windows Movie Maker, put the video on my blog at http://aristocleia.blogspot.com and uploaded it to Facebook too, watched some more videos, thought about continuing to study for finals, ended up writing run-on sentence after midnight (oops), and went back to studying and listening to music.

The Day That My Bike Got Stolen...

Woke up three hours after my alarm was set for, looked around for my alarm, found it on the floor halfway across the room, tried to remember throwing the alarm halfway across the room, failed to remember anything, got ready for church, went to church, came home from church, realized my bike was gone, followed the tracks out to University Avenue, decided to wait until tomorrow to track down the bike thief, failed to focus on studying, went visiting teaching, failed to focus on studying some more, went into the living-room where our home teachers home taught us, shook hands goodbye with the home teachers, had roommate prayer, opened presents from Emma, enjoyed present from Emma, made videos of/with Emma, got in bed and wrote run-on sentence for the day, decided to maybe focus on studying since finals are this week, realized that the Internet was wigging out again, disconnected my computer from the Internet, reconnected my computer to the Internet, and made one last attempt at publishing my run-on sentence.

The Day That the Internet Kept Failing...

Didn't set my alarm the night before so thought it was much earlier when I woke up naturally at around 10:00am, realized that it is probably because of the H1N1 live mist-vaccination that I got a few days ago that I feel so crappy lately, decided to look at a few slides from Anatomy Lecture, made another camping stove out of a soda can, tried to boil water on the camping stove but failed miserably, tried again after making larger holes in the can for fire to come out, failed miserably again, gave up on trying to boil water with my aluminum-can-camping-stove, walked to Smith's with Emma in the rain, walked back home from Smith's with Emma in the rain, tried to get online but got kicked off because of how many people in my apartment building that were trying to get on the Internet, enjoyed the rest of the reading day in my apartment, tried to talk Hannah into forgetting about BYU-I and just coming to BYU in Provo instead (because it's obviously way better here), listened to Neil Patrick Harris sing on YouTube, thought about studying, ignored my thoughts about studying (seems like I do that a lot, doesn't it?), wrote my run-on sentence for the day and decided to acknowledge my productive thoughts and study for the remainder of the day.

The Day That I Witnessed First-Hand How Flammable Acetone Really Is...

Woke up earlier than I would have liked, got out of bed, spent most of the day in my apartment pretending to study, made a camping stove out of a can because I was bored, put acetone in the stove because I couldn't find any rubbing alcohol, lit the camping stove, realized that acetone is probably more flammable than alcohol, put out the fire that ensued, laughed with relief, invited Clarke to discover the flammability of acetone with me, walked to the park with Clarke, watched as Clarke covered his hand in acetone and lit it on fire, laughed, laughed even harder when Clarke put out the fire in the snow, stopped breathing because I was laughing so hard when Clarke exclaimed that his hand was really really cold, walked back to my apartment with Clarke, realized that my roommates were in the living room and would not want a male in the apartment due to various concerns, said goodbye to Clarke, came inside the apartment, typed my run-on sentence, and decided to call it a night.

The Day That I Looked at Pretty Colors Through a Spectroscope...

Woke up at 7:30am which is early but not as early as I would like to have woken up, rolled out of bed around half an hour later, turned on my computer, typed in the hard drive password, typed in my account's password, finished writing my last paper for my Marriage Prep class, tried to print it out on my roommate's printer, failed to print it out on my roommate's printer, watched last night's episode of Glee on Hulu, felt scandalized by last night's episode of Glee, took a long luxurious shower, got dressed, prepared my backpack for my jaunt to campus, made it to the JSB by 1:13pm which gave me approximately 10 minutes to print off my paper, printed off my paper and was in the JFSB by 1:20, waited in the hallway with 200 other students since the previous class went overtime, shuffled into room B037 or whatever-it-is and sat down in my seat at 1:31pm, attempted to put a staple in my paper without a stapler, failed miserably, let the girl sitting next to me take my paper into a random room to staple it with a real stapler, listened to the professor, typed some notes, noticed when Emma came and sat on the floor in the isle next to me, enjoyed listening to the professor, enjoyed leaving class knowing it was the last time I'd ever be there even more than I enjoyed listening to the professor, shuffled out into the hallway, ran to the bathroom because I really had to pee, went to chemistry recitation, left chemistry recitation five minutes later because I wasn't required to be there, went to my last physics lab, enjoyed looking at pretty colors through a spectroscope, realized that I need to pay attention to exponents in mathematical equations, turned in my last physics lab report, went to the bathroom again because I had to pee again, sped as cautiously as possible back to my apartment, sat down and wrote the first part of this run-on sentence, texted Klaas and decided to go up to the "Crunch Time" party at the Wilk, waited for Klaas to get to Provo, waited some more for Klaas to get to Provo, realized how impatient I really can be, finally walked up to campus because Klaas finally made it to Provo, made the mistake of wearing flip flops, ran into the Maeser building's upstairs bathroom and proceeded to run warm water over my toes, felt better, walked through every possible building on the way to the Wilk, ate free cereal in the Wilk ballroom, thought about staying to watch Polar Express, ended up going back to my apartment with Klaas and playing Phase 10 with most of my roommates, had tons of fun almost winning Phase 10, was told that my immune system sucks, realized that I need to get more sleep, decided to skip roommate prayer to that end, finished writing the run-on sentence for today, and will proceed to go to sleep in the near future.

The Day That the Chemistry Professors Caroled in the Hallway

Today I woke up later than I originally planned to, watched some Doogie Howser MD on Hulu, walked up to campus, went into the Wilk to get my H1N1 vaccine, ended up getting the mist-version which made me feel slightly under the weather for a while, went to Chemistry and sat next to Jared again because I like the 16th seat and he was sitting in it again so I had to compromise and sit in the 17th seat, watched a giant wall of fire explode, stopped listening to the professor because he was rattling off a list of things that I already downloaded off of Blackboard, read a few pages in Mistborn which is the book that I am sort-of reading, listened when he bore his testimony, went out in the hallway to discover three chemistry professors singing carols, listened to the professors carol, kept listening when my chemistry professor joined them, admired their singing ability, walked back to my apartment, watched some more 24, thought about studying, ignored my thoughts about studying, walked to Smith's to buy eggs and cheese, walked back to my apartment and almost got run over twice in the process because of the snowy roads, sat down at my computer and started typing a very long run-on sentence, thought about how tonight I am going to make flash cards online for all of my classes whilst watching/listening to more 24 episodes, thought some more about how I am going to fail to go to sleep early again tonight, also thought about how I need to go to the physics lab tomorrow since I forgot to go today, and finally finished typing that very long run-on sentence because if I kept typing things that I thought about the run-on sentence would be an even longer run-on sentence than it already is.

Today I....

Woke up at 6:30 in the morning, got dressed in the dark, ate a breakfast of whole wheat bagel with peanut butter and grandma's choke cherry jam, threw out a whole jar of blackberry jam because it was infiltrated by mold, washed my hands, put on my coat, trudged through the snow to my Introduction to Clinical Laboratory Techniques class and played with bacteria, washed my hands again, trudged through the snow back to my apartment, watched a few episodes of 24, flossed my teeth and bled all over the place because I flossed too hard during an epic moment in one of the 24 episodes (Jack Bauer yet again was wielding a gun against those who planned to destroy the United States via radiation poisoning), wiped the blood splashes off of my hands and computer screen, washed my hands again, downloaded all of the powerpoints for every class that I've had this semester so that I will be able to study for finals more effectively, came to the library to study those powerpoints, am planning on going to tithing settlement in 20 minutes, am also planning on giving my bishop an ecclesiastical recommendation worksheet in order to complete my RA application for Spring/Summer 2010, am planning on going to bed early instead of not falling asleep until three in the morning because of various disturbances, have been getting even more and more excited to go home for Christmas, and have realized how difficult it is for me to limit myself to one sentence a day.

Yesterday's Sentence

Yesterday I went to the library to write most of my paper that is due this Thursday, waited under the Dev in my flip flops for FHE to start, gave up on afraid-of-the-snow drivers and spent the rest of the night enjoying the peace and quiet of my room.
